Chen: DT, Since that this is your second season with Fubon, and your team came up short just a little bit in the playoffs, how would you make the improvement and adjustment this year?

Townes: The improvement we did is that our front office did a great job. We got a lot of young guys. We still got a long way before the season started and we are working very hard. I am very excited with the team we got. They worked hard, so this might be the year for us.
陶斯: 進步的方面我認為我們的行政部門做得很好，我們擁有許多年輕球員；我們在季前還有很久一段時間，並且我們非常努力。我對於整支球隊感到很興奮，隊友們很認真，所以，今年應該輪到我們了。

Chen: We all knew that you are chosen as the best foreign player of the past year. How do you see yourself? What are the disadvantages you got for the past season and how did you make the improvement?

陳: 我們都知道上一季你被選為年度最佳洋將並選入年度第一隊，那你自己怎麼看待？你上一季的缺點你又如何修正？
Townes: You know I do a lot of research on myself last season and this summer I worked very very hard on my outside game and my inside game also. Just to mix it up against the foreign players and local Taiwanese players also. They saw me as a very strong guy inside, so what I will do this year is that I will do both like sometimes I go inside and sometimes I go outside. I did a lot of work this summer.

陶斯: 你知道對於上季我自己的表現我做了滿多研究，夏天時我也非常地努力去精進我的外線及內線能力；試著調整去對付不論是洋將或是台灣本土球員。大家看待我是一個強力內線球員，所以今年我是試著內外兼修，像是有時出手外線有時強打內線。只能說今年夏天，我很認真練習。
Chen: Alright, last question. Since that your team got Joe, Sab and you. Some fans have already named three of you” the golden triangle of the Braves”. Do you like that?
陳: 好的，最後一個問題，你們隊上現在有林書緯(Joseph Lin)、陳山眉(Sabatino Chen)和你，被球迷們稱作「富邦鐵三角」，你喜歡嘛？
Townes: Yep, and right now we got a little bit jet lagged on us. We still tried to get used to the time but still get up early, and get familiar with the new coach and the new guys. So, By time, by maybe October and November, we should be hot and ready to get the season started strong！
陶斯：是的，然而現在我們都還有時差，依然試著調整但依然必須早起，還須熟悉新教練和新隊友們。所以，相信過了一段時間等到十月、十一月，我們應該是支狀況火燙的球隊，到時準備強勢開季！
